Get Ready for MAKERS GRL PWR Awards!

The future is female, and we think it's about time we celebrate that.

This fall, MAKERS will host its first annual GRL PWR AWARDS, a live event showcasing young women who are already making a big impact in the world. At this year's ceremony, we will be honoring this new generation of changeMAKERS with a series of awards, including:

The STEM MakeHER Award: For young women who are breaking down barriers in the fields of math and science.

The Taking Bossy Back Award: For young women who have boldly taken up the mantle of leadership.

The FeMANist Award: For young men who have fought on behalf of gender equality.

Already young girls are proving to be the leaders we've been waiting for. At the 2018 MAKERS Conference, America's Top Young Scientist for 2017 Gitanajli Rao was greeted with thunderous applause when she declared: "It would be a dream come true if all girls—and even boys—my age learn to innovate, come together and solve problems."
