Traditionally, you want to use fresh lime juice, agave, tequila, and then something spicy. Spicy margaritas are tart, refreshing, and pack a punch.

First, we got fresh lime juice. Very important in a margarita. Then as a sweetener instead of agave, I'm doing a little chamomile honey. I made a little chamomile tea and diluted some honey with it to give it a little bit more of a floral characteristic. I got some honeydew melon juice, freshly made. We're going to do a Ancho Verde, which is a poblano liqueur, giving it a little bit of heat and a little bit of smoke as well. To incorporate a little floral notes that are going to complement the honey and the chamomile, we have St. Germain, elderflower liqueur. And then it's not a margarita without tequila. We have Cazadores Blanco.

All right, I'm getting thirsty. So let's make this. First, we're going to start with our lovely honey chamomile syrup. I'm going to do just a 1/4 ounce of that. Bring in our fresh honeydew melon juice. It is summertime, so let's use the melons.

Bring in the fresh lime juice. Then, we have a little bit of an ancho chile poblano liqueur, this gives it a little smoke, a little heat. To complement those honey and chamomile notes, we have St. Germain, elderflower liqueur. Cazadores Blanco.

Now, we ice our tin. Going to rim our glass. Use a little bit of an orange. I like to half rim, that way you give the option. And we need to shake this.

And now we have a Fresno watermelon ice cube. I made this by freezing some watermelon juice with some water, pureed Fresnos. What this does is that it allows the cocktail to dilute and incorporate some heat and some more watermelon flavor. And here you have it. It's a hot margarita summer. This has been In The Know Bar Master. I'm Josué Allday. Happy drinking.
