See Hallmark's Revealing Teaser for 'When Calls the Heart' Season 11

Enthusiasts and devotees of When Calls the Heart: how ready are you for the season 11 premiere? That was a silly question, because anyone whose a fan of the show would be anxiously anticipating the new episodes. Ever since there were theories about the show possibly ending a few years back, any new When Calls the Heart content pretty much becomes a big deal.

It also helps that Hallmark is intentionally brewing up excitement by releasing promotional photos and small clips that give fans a teaser for what's to come. (Listen, Hallmark, it's clear what you're trying to do... and it's working!)

As a refresher, season 10 saw Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) call it quits with Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally). It seems that when he got elected as governor, it was too hard on their engagement after all! While this may or may not have been shocking, this does leave room for Elizabeth to see where things go with Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry), since everyone saw the two develop a little something in their last few interactions. There's also that weird mystery looming around Hope Valley that needs to get solved at some point.

When Calls the Heart season 11 will premiere on Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark. Spring is looking a lot warmer this year!

The news officially broke when the show's Instagram page posted a brand new promotional flyer.

Also, actress and producer Erin Krakow spoke with Entertainment Tonight giving her own statement on the update.

"Time has flown by since the end of season 10 and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the premiere of season 11 of When Calls the Heart," Erin said. "It's such a warm feeling to know that we have the loyalty, love, and longevity to make it this far and that is a true testament to our viewers."

What will season 11 of When Calls the Heart be about?

In general, you can expect some budding romances, different sets of drama, and a fresh style.

Still, there are clearly a lot of questions that need to be answered, and you can count on that happening! Erin gave TVInsider some reassurance back in October 2023: "I can say that the good news is that those questions will be answered," she said. "And pretty much right away, so we’re not gonna have to wait too long in season 11 to get those answers."

That means fans could finally uncover what that town mystery is all about, which would likely see Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) and Rosemary LeVeaux-Coulter (Pascale Hutton) work closely together. Plus, Elizabeth and Nathan... and whatever they have going on will hopefully be addressed, too!

Is there a trailer for When Calls the Heart season 11?

Right now, there is no full trailer—but there are a few first look photos and short teasers, which certainly do the job! It all started on February 29, when Pascale Hutton (the actress that plays Rosemary) posted a brief promotional clip to her Instagram.

While it was a quick clip, a lot of new things were shown. In fact, Pascale captioned her post: "New teammates, new hair, new friendships, new love (?), AND a first birthday!!!! What more does #season11 have in store?????"

Is the new love referring to Elizabeth and Nathan?

Additionally, Hallmark themselves uploaded a few brief teasers to promote the season.

Each one is pretty short! The first one, posted on March 3, shows the moment that Elizabeth decides to cut her hair. Then shortly afterward, Nathan's reaction to the new look is shown.

"You look great," he says, putting a smile right on Elizabeth's face.

Two more have been uploaded since then, one titled "Infinite Possibilities"and the other "Irresistible New Season."

The first one focuses on a few different couples (and some soon-to-be couples). It also contains some emotional scenes with Lucas, who has a hard time remembering anything after his accident. The second one is shorter, but it puts Elizabeth and Nathan at the forefront. Hallmark is just trying to make it clear that the two will be a heavy topic in the the new season!

After those teasers, it's confirmed that Erin will come back as Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton, and that Kevin McGarry will reprise his role as Nathan Grant. That's not all, though!
