Get Ready for Fall With Nike's Air Max 97 Multi-Colored "Corduroy"

Nike is expanding its Air Max 97 lineup with a colorful "Corduroy" iteration for Fall. Originally designed by Christian Tresser in 1997, the Air Max 97 draws inspiration from Japanese bullet trains.

The new version combines warm and cool colors, featuring a pink-toned corduroy upper that extends to the tongues. Maroon leather overlays on the tongue and tan leather racing stripes add a retro feel, while dark teal nubuck with pink stitching adorns the mudguards.

The shoe also boasts embroidered "AIR" branding on the outer lateral and an embroidered Swoosh on the inner lateral. Comfort is ensured with a sail midsole and full-length clear Air Max units atop a black rubber outsole for excellent traction.

Set to release in the coming months, the Nike Air Max 97 Multi-Colored "Corduroy" will be available for $185 USD at select retailers and online on Nike's website.
