These New Ready-to-Eat Açaí Bowls Will Be Your Go-to Treat This Summer
Typically, if you want to get an açaí smoothie bowl, you have to go to a specialty shop. While it’s worth it to get the frozen treat that’s topped with granola, fresh fruit, peanut butter, or whatever toppings you wish, now you can have one from the comfort of your home. Sambazon has new ready-to-eat açaí bowls that will keep you cool this summer.
If this is your introduction to açaí bowls, you have been missing out. Açaí is a superfood berry that is found on açaí palm trees in South American rainforests. They can be blended to create a smoothie-like mixture that is fresh and cool. Sambazon makes a range of açaí products, including Bites, Sorbet, and Packs to build your own bowl. But with its new ready-to-eat line, it takes just seconds before you’re ready to dig in.
The prepared bowls come in three flavors: Berry Bliss (strawberry banana blend), Amazon Superberry (berry blend), and Peanut Butter Power (peanut butter, banana, and protein blend). Take the frozen bowl out of the freezer, tear off the granola cup, and let it thaw at room temperature for 15 minutes — or put it in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds and stir. Then, you just sprinkle the granola on top, along with banana, blueberries, peanut butter, chia seeds, or whatever you want. That’s all it takes!
Sambazon has its açaí products available at a range of stores, including Costco, Whole Foods, Kroger, Publix, Safeway, and Albertsons. The bowls are listed on Target’s website for $3.49 each, which — spoiler alert — is way cheaper than any specialty shop you’ll go to for one.
