Reading hospital gifts ADORABLE Eras Tour bracelets to babies born on Taylor’s birthday

This is Taylor Swift’s world and we’re all just living in it, as evidenced by a Reading Pennsylvania hospital in the labor and delivery department.

A little historical fact about Tay: she is a Reading Pennsylvania native, and she was born in Berks County. A hospital in Reading has decided to hand our Era’s Tour-inspired friendship bracelets to families with babies who were born on Swift’s birthday—Dec. 13.

The hospital’s social media shared, “In celebration of Berks County native Taylor Swift’s birthday, our babies are marking their ‘newborn era’ today with adorable friendship bracelets from our staff!”

And Swifties in the comments are proud that they’re starting their Taylor Swift obsession from a young age.

“Starting a new generation of Taylor fans! What a great idea! These will be special treasures for sure!” one commenter shared.

“A whole new generation of swifties!!!” another said.

But why friendship bracelets? If you’re not a full-fledged Swiftie like me, you may not understand the significance of these friendship bracelets.

They’re inspired by the song, “You’re on Your Own Kid,” from Swift’s latest album, Midnights. The lyric says, “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.” And Swifties everywhere took this suggestion to heart.

According to the Reading Eagle website, friendship bracelets were given to mothers, families and friends of 11 babies born at the hospital, which means about 60 bracelets total were handed out in honor of Swift’s 34th birthday.

PEOPLE reported the bracelets said things like, “Newborn Era,” “Fierce,” and “Loved.”

Bracelets were shared “with families of babies in the maternity unit, NICU families and some staff members who are Swifties and couldn’t resist. Families were touched by the gesture and were looking forward to sharing the sweet token with the babies one day when they become old enough to understand the significance,” PEOPLE reported.

“Here’s to celebrating the spirit of connection and the beginning of many cherished bonds among our newest stars,” the hospital’s Instagram post read.
