Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are thanking royal well-wishers for their kind words on Archie’s christening with a personalized note. One lucky recipient posted the note to Instagram.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of Archie’s Christening, and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did,” it reads. “It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their very best wishes.”

Archie had his christening during a private ceremony at the chapel inside Windsor Castle on July 6, two months after he was born. Fewer than 25 people attended the event, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, Camilla Bowles, and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. Queen Elizabeth was notably absent from the ceremony due to a prior commitment, but Archie shouldn’t feel too bad about it as she was also unable to attend Prince Louis’s christening last year due to scheduling conflicts as well.

Archie wore the traditional Royal Christening Robe, a replica commissioned by the Queen after the original garment, which had been worn by 62 royals over 163 years, was decided to be too fragile in 2004. The Queen had her own dressmaker create the copy.

Despite only being a few months old, Archie has had a busy summer. He’s traveled with his parents on a couple of international trips, including ones to Spain and France. This week he, along with his mother, will make their inaugural trip to the Queen’s Scottish estate, Balmoral.
