Easter is early this year, and with all of the preparations involved (we're talking family-fun activities, delicious foods, and Easter egg hunts), don't let the special day sneak up on your. The holiday falls on March 31, 2024, and no matter how much time you spend planning, it's understandable if you need to make a last-minute trip to the store!
Perhaps you miscalculated how much ham you needed to feed the crowd, or you need more butter for your Easter cakes. Or maybe you wanted to check out the new 4-pound Triple Chocolate Cream Pie. Regardless, when you start thinking about what stores are open on Easter your thoughts inevitably turn to Costco. It's our favorite one-stop shop for bulk buying groceries, paper goods, cleaning supplies, seasonal items, and more. (Let's be honest, the food court is often our first stop). But you need to know:
Is Costco open on Easter 2024?
But if your Easter plans involve a trip to Costco, you'll need to plan ahead, because all Costco locations are closed on Easter Sunday. Costco closes just seven days a year. The others are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If you haven't finished your Easter shopping and your plans involve a trip to Costco, you'll need to make sure you have everything wrapped up on March 30. Stores are open normal hours on Saturday (typically 9 a.m.-6 p.m., but check the store locator for the warehouse nearest you). All locations will resume normal operating hours on April 1.
