While many of us may know Raven-Symoné for her Disney Channel show That’s So Raven, she’s about to grace our screens in a completely different way: in an hour-long HGTV special called What Not to Design.

The special follows Raven-Symoné, interior designer Nina Ferrer, and craftsman James Worsham as they lead style-focused interventions to help fix home design disasters. The team transforms outdated homes into modern oases with impeccable design. And if the title of the special sounds familiar, that’s because both the name and the format of the special are inspired by What Not To Wear.

“Style mistakes are not confined to clothing,” Raven-Symoné said in a release. “Bad design prevents people from living well and truly enjoying their homes. My team and I are determined to show what to do—and what not to do—to create beautiful spaces.”

This special will serve as a pilot episode, wherein Raven-Symoné and her team meet with homeowners to discuss what items to keep, toss, and sell online, in order to maximize their budget. Then, the rooms are cleared out and ready to be made over.

“To call these homes eclectic would be kind,” adds Raven-Symoné. “We’re going to give families a clean slate and show them how to style their new space and apply the “to-do” and “not-to-do” list to the rest of the house.”

Say no more—we’ll definitely be watching (and taking notes along the way)! The special will air tomorrow, Thursday, July 29th, on HGTV, at 8PM ET/PT.
