Heritage Auctions is selling a rare and interesting card that's not often seen in the public marketplace. This part of Pokémon TCG history takes fans back to 1998 when Wizards of the Coast first brought the card game to North America.
Graded 6.5 by CGC, the card sees Blastoise #009/165R in test print form with a gold border. This is just one of three Pokémon Test Print cards that CGC certified in December of 2020, and features WOTC's original Magic: The Gathering card back and foil font. This card is special, not only because it was test printed on MTG card stock, but because there are just so few in existence. CGC has also gone to great lengths in providing the public with the origin story of this hybrid card.
Currently, this card is listed with an offer price of $324,000 USD or more.
