Rare Cat With Two Noses Finally Gets Her Happy Ending

A cat in the U.K. named Nanny McPhee that was born with two noses has found a loving family to call her very own. At first when the shelter rescued her they believed that Nanny just had a very large nose, but after the cuddly cat was examined by a veterinarian it was discovered that Nanny actually had two noses, likely caused by a congenital abnormality. Senior field veterinary officer Fiona Brockbank said "This is a real rarity and, thankfully, it isn't causing her any problems at all."

Yesterday the Cats Protection Warrington Adoption Centre shared this wonderful news to their Facebook page.

The post reads, "Yesterday, we waved our farewells to superstar Nanny McPhee She's our 590th cat to be homed this year! She's starting a new adventure in her home and we would like to wish her new family all the best."

That's so fantastic not only for Nanny, but for the 590 other cats this wonderful shelter has found forever homes for.

Before Nanny was adopted, the shelter told The BBC, "She has proven to be a gentle lady who adores a fuss and a cuddle and we are hopeful her new-found fame will mean she will have no shortage of potential adopters. She really does deserve a home where she can settle down and become the centre of a loving family."

Facebook users are overjoyed at this news, and @Rachel comments, "Good luck beautiful." Another user adds, "Yaaaaay!, Phebobe and Einstein would approve but they're sleeping. Thanks to you people for our lovely cats."

Congratulations to both Nanny and the shelter for finding this sweet and unusual cat a family to call her very own!
