The 'One Million Years B.C.' actress died on February 15, 2023.

Raquel Welch's cause of death has officially been revealed.

The One Million Years B.C. actress died earlier this year on Feb. 15 at her home in Los Angeles at the age of 82. Now, her health struggles are being confirmed after what her family members initially stated was a "brief illness" that was unannounced at the time, per TMZ.

The outlet is reporting that the star died after suffering a heart attack and was also struggling with Alzheimer's disease–which she had not previously disclosed to the public–at the time of her death, per a death certificate that was obtained by the publication.

According to the certificate, the two-time Golden Globe nominee was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m. on Feb. 15 and has since been cremated. The certificate also noted her prestigious career in Hollywood that stated she spent 60 years as an actress in the entertainment industry.

Welch quickly rose to fame following her roles in Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C. in 1966. She went on to star in other hit films such as The Three Musketeers (1974), which earned her a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical or Comedy, and she also earned a nomination for the TV movie Right to Die (1987).

Another iconic role includes Mrs. Windham Vandermark in Legally Blonde, in addition to singing with Cher on an episode of The Cher Show in 1975.

For her final project, she portrayed Rosa in the TV series Date My Dad in 2017.

Welch is survived by her two children, 61-year-old daughter, Tahnee Welch, and 63-year-old son, Damon Welch, whom she shared with her ex-husband of five years, James Westley Welch.

Following her divorce, Welch went on to marry Patrick Curtis three years later but the couple ultimately separated in 1972. Then in 1980, she married Andre Weinfeld for a decade, before marrying Richard Palmer in 1999 and divorcing in 2004.
