Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton Held Hands on a Very Cute Date in New York
Award season has come and gone, but Bohemian Rhapsody's stars and off-screen sweethearts Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton made it clear they're still very much a couple during their date in New York City yesterday. The two were photographed holding hands while walking around the city.
There's a nice coordination happening with their outfits. Both are wearing hints of black and white. Boynton had on an oversized black coat with a white, red, and black patterned top and black boots. She accessorized with sunglasses and a Saint Laurent bag.
Malek, meanwhile, wore a white top, jeans, and what appears to be a black-trimmed brown jacket. He finished his look with sunglasses and a black beanie.
According to the photo agency, the two went shopping "at several stores on the Lower East Side" and then ate at Russ & Daughters Cafe. Trendy!
Boynton and Malek were first reported to be dating in April 2018, so almost a year ago. “They met while filming Bohemian Rhapsody in London,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “He is so into her. He goes and visits her in London all the time.”
During the Oscars, Malek and Boynton kissed during the broadcast when he was announced the winner of the Best Actor award. When he made his acceptance speech, he gave Boynton a heartfelt shoutout. "Lucy Boynton, you're the heart of this film," he said to her. "You are beyond immensely talented. You have capture my heart. Thank you so much."
