The nostalgic teaser for the A Christmas Story sequel has finally been released and it’s guaranteed to put you in your feels. The short trailer features iconic lines from the original and camera shots of the famous house on Cleveland Street. One clip shows an old picture of a young Ralphie Parker (Peter Billingsley). Then, the video cuts to him all grown up, putting on his glasses and smiling at the screen.

A Christmas Story Christmas will take place in the 1970s and will focus on an adult Ralphie. In this spinoff story, he returns to his old home in hopes of creating a magical Christmas like the one he had growing up.

The 1983 classic revolved around a young Ralphie growing up in the 1940s as he tries to convince everyone that a Red Ryder BB rifle is the ultimate Christmas present.

According to Variety, Clay Kaytis (Netflix’s The Christmas Chronicles) directed the upcoming film, while Billingsley is back in his role as Ralphie and as producer of the project. Zack Ward has returned to play Scut Farkus, Ian Petrella as Randy Parker, R.D. Robb as Schwartz and Scott Schwartz is back portraying Flick.

Start the countdown: A Christmas Story Christmas premieres on HBO Max on November 17.
