I never really had an inclination to shop for makeup that cost $1. It's not that I prefer high-end makeup, or only shop at Sephora; however, beauty products that cost just one dollar haven’t caught my eye until now.

I have to say that AOA's Glow Liquid Eyeshadows are the bomb! They are highly pigmented and super easy to use. It would be pretty difficult to resist slathering these pigments all over your eyelids. Plus, they boast a beautiful, luminous finish that'll make you feel extra gorg!

AOA Fat Lash Mascara

You don't have to worry about runny mascara with this product. It stays put and is long-lasting, creating the perfect length and volume. I noticed that my eyes never clumped, which was excellent, and I felt each lash get coated thanks to the brush.

AOA Sculpt FX Contour

The AOA Sculpt FX Contour comes in 10 shades, and it’s a lightweight, creamy contour stick. I applied it to the areas of my face (along hairline, under cheekbones and along jawline) where I wanted a little more definition, and it did the job! Pro tip: make sure to buff into skin with a brush or the AOA Wonder blender sponge.

Now this highlighter was a complete shocker for me. It is a dream, and I am not kidding. I use the rainbow-colored highlighter, and I was obsessed with the glow it added to my cheekbones. This product made the high points of my face look naturally flushed.

AOA So Smooth Lipstick

AOA So Smooth Lipsticks are exactly that — super soft on the lips. They possess a satin finish and are also very pigmented. I used the shade Flamingo, and I felt like a total doll. This bright pink color reminded me of Nicki Minaj's Barbie days.

The Ultimate Must-Have

For my must-have product, I have to go with the Spectrum Highlighter. I think it's cool that you can mix all the colors or swipe one or two shades. The low cost initially intimidated me, but this lightweight powder gives skin an illuminating glow. The highlighter is also small and compact (fits perfectly inside your hand) and is available in three different palettes — Rainbow Flash, Rainbow Veil, and Moonstone Bronzer —making it perfect to choose a combination for every skin tone.
