Rain and Bear Brown of ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Paid the Sweetest Tribute to Mom Ami
Alaskan Bush People star Ami Brown beat lung cancer this past year-so this year, her birthday was especially important. Two of her kids, Rain and Bear Brown, posted sweet messages of support recently to celebrate her birthday-and to celebrate her in general.
On August 29, both Rain and Bear posted videos in honor of Ami’s birthday. On Rain’s Instagram, the two sent a message to their mother. “Seriously, it’s awesome to still have our mother around, quite frankly,” Bear said. “Happy birthday, Mom.”

Rain accompanied the video with an emotional message about her mother, and how she has always helped her through her ups and downs in life. It may be a reference to her recent struggles with depression, which she revealed last year. Read Rain’s full caption below:
“Dear mommy, Happy birthday to the greatest woman I know!!! You inspire me beyond compare. If I turn out to be anything like you my life would have purpose. You listen to me even when I’m having an anxiety attack over the dumbest things, you comfort me just by being in the room. You mean absolutely the world to me and I would be lost without you, it’s been an amazing honor to not only know a legend such as you but to call her mommy. I can’t wait until we’re both super old [ladies] together sipping tea with the grandkids ♥️ Happy birthday mommy. I love you more than the world.”
Rain also recorded a separate tribute video on Bear’s Instagram account. “Happy birthday to the most wonderful woman I have personally ever met, my inspiring mother,” she said.
