Lionsgate has released the full version of Rachel Zegler's haunting rendition of The Hanging Tree.

Originally recorded by Jennifer Lawrence for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part One, the song first appeared in Suzanne Collins' novel, Mockingjay. It was composed for the film by James Newton Howard with Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz from the Lumineers.

It's an important part of The Hunger Games narrative, as Lawrence's character of Katniss learned the song from her father, which later serves as a remedy to Peeta's brainwashing by the Capitol.

In The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, it is revealed that the song was written by Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler) after she and Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) witness the execution of rebel Arlo Chance.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will hit theaters on November 17.
