The Rachael Ray Show went off the air after 17 seasons in May, and fans have been wondering: What's next for the celebrity chef and talk show host? Well, she's heading back to TV soon with an all-new series with a powerful purpose. Rachael will not be in the kitchen or interviewing celebrities. Instead, she's helping families rebuild their homes after disaster. Country Living got an exclusive look at her new series, Rachael Ray Rebuilds.

It's a topic close to Rachael's heart. In 2020, Rachael and her husband, John Cusimano, faced the unthinkable when a fire broke out in their New York home. Rachael, John, and their dog, Bella, escaped unharmed, but their house and many of their belongings were destroyed. She chronicled the rebuilding process with fans of her show, and shared a tour of the home in November 2021 after a 15-month-long renovation. That experience drew Rachael to help others in similar situations.

On the 10-episode series, which will air on Hulu, Rachael and construction professional Anthony Carrino (of HGTV's Kitchen Cousins) meet people from across the country in the aftermath of catastrophes like weather or fire. The team helps the families navigate the rebuilding process, from dealing with insurance, contractors, financial challenges, and the emotional toll it takes. The goal is to get them back into their homes.
