Rabanne's Fall 2024 Collection Is Full of Patterned Knitwear
Rabanne's Fall 2024 collection is a study in loud coziness.
After last season's collection full of glam gladiator looks, Creative Director Julien Dossena takes a step away from the house's signature chromes and metallics, in favor of eclectic prints, colorful patchwork, boxy shoulders and plush layers. It's maximalism in every sense of the word: The silhouettes, color palette, dizzying array of patterns and sheer number of garments piled onto each model can all be described as ample.
All in one collection, Dossena plays with tartan (and several other iterations on checks), marled fibers, gabardine wool, burnt orange corduroy, puffer material, lilac voile, sequins, yellow fringe, quilted leather and fur. It's accented with some of the brand's signatures, like metallic accessories, rhinestone fringe peeking out beneath all that knitwear and gem-adorned tights.
