Quentin Tarantino Reveals He's Written Another 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood' Book

Quentin Tarantino announced that he's written a second book in the universe of his latest movie, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

In a recent interview with Empire, the filmmaker shared that the newest book focuses on The Films of Rick Dalton, is penned by him "in 1999" and includes a Q&A with Leonardo DiCaprio's character. "It gives you a little quickie biography of his life," he said. "And then it starts going through the career: '...and then there's this episodic television show, and then this other television show, and then this movie, and that movie', and starts with the small parts he has in this one, and it builds, with little reviews of each thing, little synopses of each of them. And it goes through the entire career until he retires in 1988."

However, not all fans might be able to grab a copy of the book as Tarantino thinks The Films of Rick Dalton is only appealing to "a limited audience" — Dalton's big fans. "But everybody who likes Rick, and cares about Rick, and is interested in the trajectory of Rick and has now become invested in my alternative history of Hollywood... well, this takes the alternative history of Hollywood all the way to the bitter end."

In related news, Tarantino will continue the sale of his Pulp Fiction NFTs despite legal troubles from Miramax.
