Is Queer Eye Coming Back for Season 9?

Yes! Queer Eye has been renewed for season nine. The upcoming installment will be set in Las Vegas, according to Netflix’s Tudum. Earlier seasons of the series have taken the Fab Five to Atlanta, Kansas, Philadelphia, Austin, and New Orleans. They've also done an international spinoff in Japan.

Will Another Interior Designer Replace Bobby Berk on Queer Eye?

It's official: Jeremiah Brent is joining the cast of Queer Eye as the show's new design lead for season nine. The interior designer and seasoned TV personality rounds out the expert makeover team, known as the Fab Five, which also includes Tan France, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness. Brent founded his interior design firm, Jeremiah Brent Design, in 2011, and has starred in various home reality TV shows—a few of which he co-stars in with his husband and fellow designer Nate Berkus. If you're eager to know more about Brent, we have you covered.

Why Did Bobby Berk Leave Queer Eye?

Berk announced his exit from Queer Eye in November 2023 through a heartfelt message, reflecting on his experience working on the series. "It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one," he wrote on Instagram. "Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon."

In January 2024, Berk revealed details about why he left the show in an interview with Vanity Fair. Essentially, Berk thought the series would come to an end when the original cast's contract was up in September 2022. When Netflix decided to renew the show, Berk had already emotionally moved on and made other plans that he wasn't willing to change.
