Queen Rania of Jordan Already Has the Must-Have Skirt You’ll Be Wearing Next Spring
The Jordanian monarch, Queen Rania, put her spin on the biggest trend of Spring 2019, the pleated skirt.
Queen Rania of Jordan hosted Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel earlier today at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman and donned a fluid, midi-length dress from Ralph & Russo. Her Majesty’s pink, silk organza frock—a modified version of a Fall 2018 runway look—was the ideal piece for the occasion. It also managed to touch on a trend that was a recurring theme of the Spring collections on both sides of the Atlantic this past Fashion Month: the pleated skirt.
Alessandra Rich, Burberry, and Gucci all presented their options on the ladylike silhouette. Her Majesty’s version brought an elegant yet everyday wearability to the style. Tonally coordinated accessories and an Apple Watch completed Her Majesty’s ensemble with regal polish.
