If there's one thing that Nicole Kidman loves (aside from going to an AMC theater), it's starring in a prestige miniseries. Since her Emmy-winning turn in Big Little Lies back in 2017, she's popped up in Top of the Lake, The Undoing and Nine Perfect Strangers. Now she's back yet again in the upcoming Prime Video miniseries Expats.

The six-part series is directed by Lulu Wang, who previously created the Awkwafina tear-jerker The Farewell, and follows a group of expatriates living abroad in 2014 Hong Kong. While Kidman has recently stolen the show in more pulpy thrillers and whodunits, Expats promises to be a quieter drama (hopefully without Kidman's Russian cult-leader accent).
