Queen Letizia of Spain Suits Up for a Military Ceremony
The Spanish monarch, Queen Letizia, kept prim and polished in a tailored two-piece skirt suit ensemble.
Queen Letizia of Spain made waves last week with a pair of very affordable footwear (PVC mules by Steve Madden), and earlier today in Madrid, Her Majesty did it again with her skirt suit. The monarch, joined by King Felipe VI, delivered the Real Offices in the Central Academy of the Defense today in a familiar hue—optic white—but in a radical new silhouette.
Queen Letizia’s two-piece ensemble featured a tailored waistcoat with a high lapel. The silhouette took cues from traditional three-piece suiting (sans the blazer) and was infused with feminine details thanks to oversize patch pockets and gold trim hardware.
