Sparkling stud earrings that complemented the buttons on her blazer and a coordinating black clutch pulled the stylish monochromatic ensemble together seamlessly.
The day before, Letizia stepped out in a much more casual look to celebrate her sister-in-law Infanta Elena’s 60th birthday at a restaurant in Madrid. She donned a black leather biker jacket over a black sweater, dark green tweed pants and Hugo Boss ‘Kris’ black leather loafers. The apron-toe style, which retails at $240, features a chunky platform sole and logo details on the tongue and toe. A black leather Carolina Herrera bag completed the look.
Queen Letizia has become known for merging high and low fashion over the years. She is a fan of both luxury brands, including Dries Van Noten and Carolina Herrera, and fast fashion brands like Zara, Mango and Massimo Dutti. When it comes to footwear, she gravitates toward timeless heels as well as sleek loafers, boots and flat styles. In particular, she tends to favor the slingback silhouette, and in the warmer months, she’ll often wear espadrilles.
