Spain's Queen Letizia and Jordan's Queen Rania are two of the most glamorous—if not the most glamorous—queens in the world today. Naturally, they looked extremely in sync as they stepped out together during a visit to the National Heritage Institution at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
Queen Letizia wore a dress by Diego Estrada with an abstracted floral pattern and accessorized with hot pink Carolina Herrera slingback pumps, while Queen Rania opted for an embroidered Dior dress from their 2024 Resort collection and Manolo Blahnik suede pumps. She's turned to the French brand on many major occasions recently, including at her son Prince Hussein's wedding to Princess Rajwa at her daughter Princess Iman's wedding.
For the outing, the Jordanian queen also wore Saint Laurent sunglasses.
Queen Rania is on a royal visit to Spain with her husband, King Abdullah II, and their youngest son, Prince Hashem. It marks a reunion for the Spanish and Jordanian royals for the first time since King Charles's coronation in May, as King Felipe and Queen Letizia were not among the guests at the royal wedding in Jordan earlier this month. Instead, the former king Juan Carlos and former queen Sofia, represented the Spanish royal family.
After Queen Rania visited the National Heritage Museum with Queen Letizia, they had a lunch together at the Royal Palace with their husbands and Rania's son Prince Hashem.
"So much has happened in the world over the past eight years since we last visited your lovely country, yet despite the crisis, the conflicts, the pandemic and so much more, the relationships and the warm friendships between our families, our peoples and our countries have stayed true and continue to grow from strength to strength," Abdullah said in remarks at lunch.
