Queen Letizia's summer style is enviable.
Today, the Spanish queen once again proved herself as a master of high-low dressing. Wearing a mockneck top from Massimo Dutti, white pants by Carolina Herrera, and espadrilles by local Spanish brand Macarena Shoes, Letizia's neutral outfit is going straight onto our summer style moodboard.
Queen Letizia's busy day today included visiting a student residence in Madrid and then meeting the Spain women's national football team ahead of the 2023 Women's World Cup. While at their training camp, she received a jersey that read "LETIZIA" on the back, signed by all the players. She said, "I know that you are aware of the expectation that you generate and of the illusion that I hope you feel from so many people who support you, encourage you and love you."
You can watch her speech here (in Spanish, of course):

In response, Jorge Vilda, the coach, told her, "Thank you very much for the words and encouragement. We know we have a country behind us." She's not the only royal to take interest in the upcoming tournament; Prince William recently visited the English team, the Lionesses, to wish them luck.
All in all, Queen Letizia's outfit proved that a sleeveless ivory turtleneck should absolutely be a staple of your summer wardrobe, as Meghan Markle demonstrated last year.
In September 2022, at an event celebrating one year until the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, the Duchess of Sussex wore an ivory knit turtleneck from Annie Bing (currently on sale!) and wide-legged cream Brandon Maxwell trousers.
