Zara Tindall—Princess Anne's daughter and Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter—is expecting her third child! Her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall, revealed the happy news during an appearance on the "The Good, The Bad & The Rugby" podcast, saying, "It’s been a good week for me, had a little scan last week—third Tindall on its way."

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are "aware and delighted" about Zara's pregnancy, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson told Hello. The newest Tindall will be the Queen and Philip's ninth great-grandchild.

The Tindalls already have two daughters, 6-year-old Mia Grace and 2-year-old Lena Elizabeth, and Mike hinted that he was now hoping for a son. "I’d like a boy this time. I’ve got two girls. I would like a boy, but I will love it whatever, whether it’s a boy or a girl but please be a boy!" he joked.

Mike noted that, at the time of the podcast interview, he and Zara had yet to tell Mia or Lena about their new sibling. "We haven’t told Mia yet just because we knew she would tell everyone at school. We will tell her now that we’ve gone through the scan." He added, "I think she’ll be happy about it. She has been requesting another sister or brother, so we’ve hopefully fulfilled that role for her. She just wants something different now."

And as for Lena? "Lena is growing up—she’s two-and-a-half now. She wants someone younger to play with and dress up."
