Queen Elizabeth's Doctors Are Concerned for Her Health

In a worrying update on Queen Elizabeth's health, Buckingham Palace announced this morning that the Queen's doctors are "concerned." Immediate family members have been informed, and Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall have traveled to Balmoral, and Prince William is currently en route.
In the full statement, the Palace shared, "Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable at Balmoral."
Yesterday, the Queen postponed her Privy Council meeting after her doctors recommended rest, just a day after she appointed her 15th prime minister from Balmoral.
The Queen has been at Balmoral Estate in Scotland, where she spends her summer holidays. This summer, her schedule at Balmoral has been modified quite a few times—her official welcome was changed to a private event for her comfort, and instead of traveling to Buckingham Palace to receive the new prime minister, as was originally planned, she remained in Scotland for the appointment.
The Palace rarely issues such concerning statements on the Queen's health, leading many to worry about the 96-year-old monarch. She has not been hospitalized, and remains at Balmoral Castle.
"The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime," Liz Truss, the new prime minister, said in a Tweet. "My thoughts - and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom - are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time."
