Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Other Royals Wish Prince William a Happy Birthday

Today is Prince William's 39th birthday. To celebrate, some of his royal family members took to social media to express their birthday wishes for the Duke of Cambridge.

The @RoyalFamily Twitter account, which represents Queen Elizabeth, shared several sweet photos of the Prince, some including the Duchess of Cambridge and their children. "Wishing the Duke of Cambridge a very happy birthday today!" reads the tweet, which also featured a balloon emoji.

William's father, Prince Charles, and step-mother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, wished him a happy birthday from the official @ClarenceHouse Twitter, writing, "A very happy birthday to the Duke of Cambridge!" Along with a birthday cake emoji, they shared an adorable photo of the father-son duo from when William was a baby. They also shared a photo of Prince William laughing with the Duchess of Cornwall.

Finally, Prince William expressed his gratitude for all the birthday love. On the official Twitter account he shares with wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, he wrote, "Thank you for all the birthday wishes and kind messages," and included a photo of himself.

Today caps off two days of celebration for Prince William—this year, his birthday falls just one day after Father's Day. On the @KensingtonRoyal social media accounts, the pair shared a short stop-motion video and wrote, "Wishing fathers everywhere a happy Father's Day." In the video, they included a precious photo of William being hugged by his three kids, as well as a photo of Kate's father walking her down the aisle at their wedding.
