PXG Releases High Performance 0311 X GEN5 Golf Clubs

PXG presents its latest golf clubs with the 0311 X GEN5 models. This latest version of the popular performance brand emphasizes a new proprietary technology and consistency of yardage and trajectory control.

The PXG 0311 X GEN5 golf clubs were designed with new patented technologies that are both visible and camouflaged with improvements in materials innovations, precision engineering, and customized performance. The irons feature a new proprietary XCOR2, and a Power Channel behind the face with polymer specifically to make clubs lighter and faster. One detail on the GEN5 Irons is the integration of Precision Weighting Technology, an adjustable weight located near the center of gravity on the back of the clubhead. This enables golfers to experience various head weight configurations quickly and easily during a fitting.

In addition, the PXG 0311 GEN5 drivers, fairways, and hybrids have advanced their metals, focusing on forgiveness. Encased in a band of new designs, GEN5 gives up to 37-percent higher MOI in select models because of advances in head shape and internal structures. The GEN5 Woods is composed of a Full Aluminum Vapor carbon fiber crown, an internal supporting weight structure, Precision Weighting Technology, and robotic polishing. The lightweight crown, constructed entirely from high-grade carbon fiber, lends a hand to saving critical mass, while the AV Technology strengthens the structure and reduces energy loss.

Lastly, the GEN5 Driver utilizes a Ti412 face with titanium alloy face material. This driver produces an exceptionally high yield strength and a low elastic modulus to generate significant face deflection which provides increased ball speeds.

If you are interested in upgrading your bag, the PXG 0311 X GEN5 golf clubs retail for $4,600 USD on the PXG official website. Fittings are available at authorized locations worldwide.
