Look, it's no secret that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been eagerly awaiting Daredevil's appearance in She-Hulk. With any chance for a new lawyer to enter the picture, people start getting excited that it could be a certain blind gentleman from Hell's Kitchen. And when the show's Episode 5 concluded with a look at Daredevil's yellow and red costume, the hype machine went off the rails. So we get that fans were ready to see the latest iteration of that old favorite.

But no one can be that disappointed about having to wait (at least) one more week to see The Man Without Fear, because while Episode 6 of She-Hulk didn't have Matt Murdock, it did have Lulu, Jennifer Walters' childhood friend played by the inimitable Patti Harrison. AKA: since she was played by Patti Harrison, automatically one of the funniest characters you'll see in any Marvel property (right up there with our old friend Madisynn).

Lulu—a high school friend-turned-somewhat-acquaintance of Jen's—getting married was the catalyst for the episode's A-plot, where Jen takes a few days off from work (while Mallory and Nikki pick up the slack with Mr. Immortal at GLK&H) to kick back and try to convince everyone she's having fun and doing great.

Of course, we learn early on that Lulu and Jen aren't exactly super close anymore, and this comes with the passive aggressive territory. Lulu specifically asks Jen not to be in She-Hulk form, pairs her with a groomsman who is actually a sick (but, honestly, adorable) little dog, and allows her rival, Titania, to stick around and eventually cause trouble. Lulu also hilariously lets it slip, when asked if she's "Team Edward or Team Jacob," that she's "dated both of those actors." Guess we've got another file to add to the Robert Pattinson rolodex!

But, mainly, it's just a testament to how funny the performer is. Is Lulu, Jennifer Walters' not-really-friend from high school, going to become a Marvel Cinematic Universe mainstay? Probably not. But should she? We've seen Ant-Man keep his friends and family played by fun actors like Michael Pena, Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, and David Dastmalchian (among others) around for several movies. There's room for She-Hulk to have a few recurring friends moving forward, right?

Patti Harrison is funny in everything and that goes for She-Hulk too.

Harrison has been a writer and actor in numerous highly-regarded comedy projects for about five years at this point. She made early appearances in shows like Broad City, Search Party, and High Maintenance before landing recurring roles in shows like Shrill, Made for Love, and Tim Robinson's hilarious and absurd Netflix sketch series I Think You Should Leave. She also writes for ITYSL, and has written for Big Mouth and Jason Segel's Dispatches From Elsewhere as well. She's also made a mark on the big screen, appearing in a role in The Lost City alongside Sandra Bullock and leading Together Together with Ed Helms.

One of her funniest ITYSL sketches, where she plays a woman in a Driver's Ed video, is on Netflix's YouTube for all to see.

Harrison, a trans woman, is one of the first trans actors in Marvel (actor Zach Barack appeared briefly as the character Zach Cooper in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Nine Perfect Strangers star Zoe Terakes recently joined the cast of the upcoming Ironheart), and also has been open about taking care of herself with regards to mental health. She spoke in The New Yorker about recently being diagnosed with A.D.H.D. "It took me a really long time to just get the ball rolling on that, but I had reached a point where I was so frustrated with my inability to just stay on track," she said.

Also, in a shock to absolutely no one, Harrison's social media presence is extremely funny. You can follow her at @party_harderson.
