Purpose Over Pain organizes spa day for moms affected by violence
CHICAGO — Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday, and while it’s a day of celebration, it can be extremely hard for mother’s who have lost a child.
About 145 moms signed up to attend a spa day organized by the group “Purpose Over Pain.” The unifying and tragic thread among these women is they’ve each lost a child to violence.
