The Purple Face Mask Is Made With Comfort Gels, So You Won’t Mind Wearing It to Run Errands
Let’s be real: Face masks aren’t comfortable. In today’s climate, however, it’s what we have to rally and wear to keep each other safe. Many companies are making face masks with their own personal details on them, but if we’re going to turn to any of them for the gear, it’s Purple, which already makes some of the best mattresses and pillows out there.
The white face mask with purple detailing is the only one that uses Comfort Gel Brands and triple-layered breathable fabric, according to Purple. It was designed to be comfortable to wear for hours and is machine-washable. The Purple Face Mask follows the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for personal use.
“We took the best materials from the greatest pillows ever invented and reimagined them to create the most comfortable, reusable face mask ever,” the description says.
The Purple Face Mask comes in three sizes: kids, small/medium, and large/extra-large. Each order includes two face masks for $20, and there’s a limit of two packs (four masks) per order to ensure more people get them.
“Purple’s mission is to help people feel and live better through innovative comfort solutions, and we are doing everything we can to make it easier for everyone to be safer during this pandemic,” Joe Megibow, Purple’s chief executive officer, said in a press release. “I’m incredibly proud of how our team came together and quickly designed a one-of-a-kind face mask that allows anyone to take comfort everywhere they go.”
As a member of the Brands x Better Coalition, Purple had committed to donating 10% of net proceeds from all purchases from April 13 to 30, which led to over $250,000 being raised to manufacture and donate 1,000 emergency relief mattresses for care facilities nationwide.
As the country bands together (from at least 6 feet apart, of course), we might as well be comfortable when we run to the grocery store and other necessary places. And those Comfort Gel Brands are sounding really nice right about now.
