This is more of a PSA, to anyone who wears a U.S. size 6 or 8: Can you please buy this excellent Puppets and Puppets puppy jacquard overcoat — or the matching pencil skirt, both of which are currently on sale — so I can live vicariously through you?

From the Fall 2022 "Coven" collection, this incredible black-and-gold print depicts some Very Good Boys sitting among tall stalks of grass. Puppets and Puppets used the jacquard on a single-breasted overcoat and a pencil skirt, both of which have been on my mind since I saw it at a press preview following the runway.

I was waiting for them to go on sale, which they eventually did — but alas, I waited too long, and my sizes aren't available anymore. (Rookie mistake.) Both pieces are sold out virtually everywhere except Nordstrom, which has the coat in sizes 6 and 8, and the skirt in sizes 2 and 6, both 40% off right now. They're still investments, at $777 and $417 respectively, but they're pretty much guaranteed to bring a smile to your face every single time you wear them. How can they not!
