‘Pupchella’ Is the Ultimate Festival for Dogs Complete With Fur-friendly Tattoos and Flower Crowns

Sure, you may love your dog, but do you love it enough to buy it a flower crown and take it to its very own Pupchella dog festival?

In August, Paséa Hotel & Spa, located in Huntington Beach, California, along with Vanderpump Dogs, hosted the very first Pupchella — a pop-up brunch, fashion show and festival for our favorite four-legged friends.

The hotel, which truly is one of the most dog-friendly hotels in America, kicked off the festivities on Aug. 11 on its stunning oceanfront lawn overlooking the Pacific. The festival started with an over-the-top brunch, which included plenty of delicious treats for dogs and humans alike. It included everything from chilaquiles to chicken and waffles and even ended with a bit of dog-friendly ice cream.

Following brunch, dogs and their adoring parents took part in a number of adorable pet-friendly activities including dog flower crown making, fur-friendly glitter tattooing, a simply precious pet-inspired photo booth, a pet fashion show, and even the chance to shop the brand-new Vanderpump Pets collection.

While the event was most certainly cute, it also helped support a very important cause. According to the hotel, a portion of the event’s proceeds were donated to the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, whose mission supports ending the abuse and inhumane treatment of dogs worldwide.

While this year’s event has concluded, the hotel is already planning its 2020 Pupchella schedule. And, those who wish to get in on their own pet-friendly getaway can book accommodations and Pasea’s Paw-sea Pet package, featuring luxe dog spa treatments, in-room treats and amenities, access to the new on-property 1,100-square-foot pup play park, a waived pet fee and more. Because your best fur friend deserves to live in a little bit of luxury too.
