Fall is already looking more delicious every day. Both Dunkin' and Starbucks are reportedly bringing back their PSL soonish along with new fall sips, and now Oreo has unveiled some exciting news. According to CNN Business, Oreo has confirmed that it will be bringing back its Pumpkin Spice Sandwich Cookies after a grueling five-year hiatus.

In an Instagram post shared earlier this week, Oreo declared that "We’re pumpkin spicing things up," before announcing August 15 as the release date for the Pumpkin Spice cookies.

The Pumpkin Spice Oreos "feature two golden wafer cookies filled with a rich pumpkin spice flavored creme, making them supremely dunkable and delicious." The kosher treat, which is available for a limited time, is the perfect snack for cozying up to your favorite horror film, or doing whatever your favorite fall activity might be.

Over the years, pumpkin spice has become a seasonal go-to for everything from beer to Pop-Tarts. Haters say there's far too much pumpkin spice stuff out there, while devotees welcome it with open sweater-covered arms. The Pumpkin Spice boom is partially attributed to Starbucks, which launched its pumpkin spice latte nearly 20 years ago in 2003. From there, one of the biggest trends in food was born.
