Pumpkin Spice Glazed Turkey Breast Is Here In Case You Need A Halloween Feast
It should not be a surprise to any of us when our favorite foods get a pumpkin spice makeover anymore. After all, not even mac & cheese is safe!! And now there's another, let's call it, unconventional food that's been doused in pumpkin spice: turkey.
The Honey Baked Ham Company announced this week that it was beginning a test of Pumpkin Spice Glazed Turkey Breast in select cities across the U.S. This limited-time offering features their classic turkey breast and—I cannot stress this enough—it's also been topped with a crunchy pumpkin spice glaze made with "aromatic herbs and spices" to give it that signature fall flavor.
We had a chance to try it ahead of the launch and it's certainly interesting!! It tastes mostly like delicious turkey breast with a brown sugar glaze, though there is a hint of pumpkin. I love all things pumpkin so I happily ate this on its own as well as part of a sandwich. Even my fiancé who recently tried the pumpkin iced coffee I ordered and absolutely loathed it had good things to say about this pumpkin spice turkey! I will say, the glaze is thicccckkkk, so if you're not a fan of sweet things, you might wanna take some of it off before popping a slice onto your plate.
