If you haven't already carved your pumpkins for Halloween, the time is now!

Of course, there's a lot to do in the days leading up to when trick-or-treating starts on October 31. But before the candy hunt begins, you'll want to have your house decked out with all the classic Halloween decorations—including carved pumpkins!

But everyone knows that pumpkin carving is a lot harder than it looks! While it might seem like an easy Halloween craft, using a sharp knife to cut out perfect shapes and attempting to remove all those slimy innards can make this task seem even scarier than your picking out your Halloween costume! 😱 Well, not anymore!

According to Barbara Costello, @BrunchWithBabs, carving pumpkins just got a whole lot easier!

The blogger self-proclaimed as "everyone's grandma" is known for providing some seriously helpful how-tos, like this pumpkin carving trick. The only requirement? You need a hand mixer!

The TikTok video, which Babs captioned as "The Dos and Don'ts of Pumpkin Carving," has easily become one of the most viral Halloween pumpkin carving hacks on the internet.

To start, Babs informs viewers that the best way to carve a pumpkin is sitting down with the pumpkin in your lap. She also suggests cutting the bottom of the pumpkin off (not the top). The hand mixer is used to loosen up all the strings and seeds from inside the pumpkin making it *so* much easier to clean out.

Babs says it "literally cuts the job in half." 🤯

Along with using a hand mixer to remove the seeds easily, she also suggests using cookie cutters and a rubber mallet to carve your design, covering the cut surfaces with Vaseline to make the pumpkin last longer, and sprinkling the inside with cinnamon for a festive fall smell.

The video has since gone viral, with over 24 million views and 15.8 thousand comments!

"My God, Babs, you NEVER fail to impress and teach me something new, and inspiring," one commenter wrote.

Another admitted, "I don’t even own a hand mixer but I’m thinking of buying one just so I can do this."

Even celebrities, like Jennifer Garner, have gotten behind the trend. The ‘13 Going on 30’ actress took to Instagram to try it out.

"Spoiler alert: the hand mixer hack works! 🎃," she captioned on her Instagram post.
