Puma Reveals Second Scoot Henderson’s Signature Sneaker With a ‘Flamin’ Hot’ Twist

Puma has unveiled the newest addition to its line of Scoot Zero sneakers with NBA player Scoot Henderson. On Monday, the footwear brand announced the Scoot Zero x Cheetos sneaker, which will be part of the ongoing collaboration between Puma and Frito-Lay’s “Flamin’ Hot” Cheetos.

The new Scoot Zero silhouette, a bright orange lace-up sneaker adorned with black accents and matching laces, features the Scoot’s “S” logo on the tongue and an additional mini formstrip on the medial heel. The formstrip, as well as the neon colorway and additional graphic accents, were designed to imitate a flame, a common motif found on the bags of Cheeto “Flamin’ Hot” products.
Alongside the Puma Scoot Zeros x Cheetos collaboration, Puma will release two additional footwear styles, an RS-X sneaker and a Cheetos Suede Classic sneaker, as well as an eight-piece apparel collection, which includes a Cheetos-inspired sherpa and pant, hoodie, dazzle shorts and graphic tee variations.
Retailing for $45-$115, both the the Puma x Cheetos and Puma Scoot Zeros x Cheetos collaborations will be available beginning Feb. 16 at puma.com, the Puma app and at the Puma New York flagship store.

Puma unveiled the Scoot Zero, Henderson’s first signature shoe, in December 2023. Inspired by Henderson’s personal mantra, “O.D.D: Overly Determined to Dominate,” the sneakers were designed for optimal performance and equipped with features like high-rebound Profoam EVA for long-term play. The first shoe was designed in an eye-catching green and pink “Georgia Peach” colorway, inspired by the player’s home state, Georgia.
Puma recently released a capsule collection with the sustainable fashion brand Lemlem. Revealed on Thursday, the collection is comprised of three sneaker styles as well as sporty jackets and joggers, bras, matching tights and bike shorts, leotards, a training jumpsuit and several accessories, including a classic cap and backpack.
