PSA: Katy Perry just chopped all her hair off into a shaggy wolf bob haircut

Part of me is still in shock, having just digitally witnessed Katy Perry chop her long black lengths into a deliciously choppy layered short haircut. Combining both the shaggy wolf cut trend and the bob takeover, we give you: the shaggy wolf bob.
Well, we don't give it to you, celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero gives it to you, along with Katy herself who posted a video to her 'gram of the pair of them at work, cut in progress, making sure there would be no doubts it was in fact a wig.
The choppy cut falls below the jawline and is heavily parted to the side, sweeping over in almost a 00s scene kid/emo style. Which, tbf, is the era Katy first rose to prominence, with songs like I Kissed a Girl. If she'd had this haircut then, I promise you so would every single one of my tween friends.
It's decidedly drastic. She's gone from tresses sailing down her back to full bobiana.
She invited her KatyCats to leave their "thoughts, comments, concerns? 👇🏼" in the comments, and everyone was saying one thing... that this was a return of her Witness era. And they weren't happy about it.

Well, Katy swiftly dealt with their naughty comments, addressing them in a follow-up post calling them KatyRats instead and revealing "You guys had a lot of strong feelings about my haircut, lets see that energy for KP6, because this is just a wig".
And we'd be lying if we said we weren't disappointed. She 100% had us fooled.
