PSA: Jelly Belly's Christmas and Thanksgiving Combo Jelly Bean Set Is Back

With Halloween just days away, we’ve officially entered that six-month stretch of the year spanning from now until Easter where pretty much every holiday features some sort of candy component. While we most commonly associate jelly beans with the springtime holiday at the end of this stretch, that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy the bounty of bean flavors available as we get towards the holidays.

To that end, Jelly Belly’s line of Holiday Favorites has returned to store shelves, just in time for you to get a pre-Halloween head start on your favorite Christmas—and Thanksgiving—flavors. Specifically, each bag of these will come with egg nog, candy cane, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, and hot chocolate-flavored jelly beans.

While there are already plenty of candies representing Christmas and its plethora of flavors, it’s nice to see the tastes of Thanksgiving get in the mix here as well. Pumpkin pie hopefully brings the right mix of rich spices, perhaps with a bit of whipped cream thrown in. People seem to either love or hate the canned cranberry sauce that seems to only show up on the fourth Thursday of November, so you can choose to either enjoy or skip the cranberry one.

Jelly Belly’s been known to get real weird with it in the past, so it’s frankly a little surprising surprising to see that they didn’t try out flavors like Thanksgiving turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, or green bean casserole. Hey, it wouldn’t be the weirdest thing they’ve ever done.
