Get ready for the ultimate family reunion! The Proud Family is reportedly getting a reboot on Disney+ and it was Suga Mama herself who confirmed the news.

"Yeah, Suga’s large and in charge," Jo Marie Payton told Keke Palmer on GMA3, according to TVLine. "That’s all I’ve got to say — except for Suga Mama will be doing some new episodes come February."

While it still hasn't been confirmed with Disney, it wouldn't be too surprising for the show to be revived, as it was one of the most popular animated shows on Disney Channel at the time. The show aired for three seasons and even had its own television movie, that is currently airing on Disney+. The show's original seasons still haven't been added to the streaming service, but a new season might explain why they aren't yet available.

Payton also didn't confirm whether or not the show would be returning in February or if production will start then. Nevertheless, since the show ended in 2005, fans have been hungry for a new season, so the short wait shouldn't be too hard.

Tommy Davidson, who voices Penny's dad, Oscar Proud, was the first to announce the revival back in August. However, many fans were still skeptical as it was never officially confirmed. GMA3 airs on ABC, which is owned by Disney, making Payton's announcement a little more official, even though Disney+ has still yet to confirm any details.

If the rumors are true, this will make The Proud Family the second Disney Channel show to be revived on the streaming service. Disney has recently started filming a new season of Lizzie McGuire and fans have been hoping for more revivals ever since.

So what's next for Penny and her friends and family? Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out!
