Professional Skier Makes Young Fan's Day In Heartwarming Video
Professional skier Alex Hackel is doing it for the people.
In an Instagram video shared earlier this week, October 23rd, Hackel met up with one of his fans -- an 11-year-old park skier -- for a day of shredding.

For context, I'm fairly certain this was recently shot at Snowpark Zermatt, a terrain park open on a Swiss glacier during the summer and fall.
As for the video, talk about heartwarming. And no, "heartwarming" isn't a phrase I throw around too much, but this one was really special.
See, I've been that kid, stoked on all things freestyle and skiing, hoping to one day meet the pros that I looked up to, so I know exactly how Itzam's feeling here -- pure stoke. Seriously. These kinds of things mean a whole lot.
You know that meme based on Pixar's Inside Out? The one about "core memories"? Well, I suspect this moment will become a "core memory" for Itzam -- he was probably buzzing for days afterward and will never forget the time he met Alex Hackel. Plus, he scored a sweet Peak Performance x Alex Hackel hoodie.
Good on Hackel for going out of his way to make the kid's day.
