Professional Cat Photographer Dazzles Fans With Dramatic Pet Portraits
If you're anything like me, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of pet photos on your phone's camera roll. Why wouldn't there be? Just about everything my dogs do is photo-worthy, but I've never considered having professional pet portraits done before!
So when I saw cat photographer @the.cattams.family's TikTok post on August 9, my mind was absolutely blown. Her portraits are much more dramatic and cinematic than I expected! Her kitty models come in all shapes and sizes, and she can make each one the star of their photo shoot.

I am in love with these photos! I could tell from this cat-tographer's vibe that her photos were going to be dramatic and even dark, but these exceeded my expectations. I bet her clients were so thrilled!
"This is my kinda stuff," gushed commenter @cracker.cakes413. "Do you also do dogs? A Rottie in a horror setting...holy cow!" Dramatic dog portraits would be amazing! Rottweiler dogs can be so photogenic, too, so we could see why these photo sessions would go well with just about any species. Could you imagine a bearded dragon chilling among these props?
It's fun to see all of the positive comments from happy viewers, but it's even more fun to imagine cinematic photo shoots for my own dogs. No wonder this photographer has fun with this job! Meeting cats and arranging photo backdrops seems like a dream career, but I know she has the artistic eye to create masterpieces, too.
Still, anyone can try an at-home photo shoot with pets! There's no guarantee that an animal will sit still or look at the camera, but a little obedience training and a yummy treat will help do the trick.
