Becca Kufrin And Thomas Jacobs Gush About Their Post-‘BIP’ Romance On Instagram

Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin and Bachelor contestant Thomas Jacobs kind of came out of nowhere as a couple on Bachelor in Paradise. The two first started chatting during the super dramatic VIP party organized by celeb guest host Tituss Burgess. (I won't repeat the official name, you're welcome.) Then, they went on an actual date and totally hit it off.

Thomas broke up with his steady Paradise flame Tammy Ly soon after, leaving her devastated on her birthday. And, Becca and Thomas seemed solid for a few episodes. (Did you see him carry her off the beach during the evacuation? And how cute were they at the prom? Swoon!)

But a messy breakup during the finale seemed to spell disaster for these two. Or did it? So what happened with these two at the end of the show? And, are they still together now? Here’s what you need to know about Becca and Thomas' current relationship status.

What happened with Becca and Thomas on Bachelor in Paradise?

Fans got to see these two as a steady thing on Paradise until…

They weren't. A little more detail: Becca dumped Thomas before the overnight dates (no Fantasy Suite for these two), and they both left Paradise single. It seems that chicken nugget feast wasn't quite enough to keep them going after all.

But are Becca and Thomas dating after filming?

This is where things get interesting. It’s easy to assume that, once couples leave Paradise, that’s it. But people can have plenty of reasons for breaking up on the show, like not wanting to be pressured into an engagement by the end or, ya know, no longer feeling like having your every move filmed.

Becca and Thomas both made their relationship Instagram official after the BiP finale aired. Becca paired a super cute video of their best moments together with the caption:

"You know what they say… Third time’s a charm I’m sorry for breaking up with you on national television, but I’ll take every day to make it up to you, Tommy. Thanks for making my heart smile far more than it ever has. Now time to start this real life."

And Thomas posted some old pics from the Paradise set. "I feel safe with you. As if nothing could ever go terribly wrong … Thank you for being someone who I can put my trust in, someone who would never hurt me, someone who would never push 'us' away … #BachelorInParadise #FinaleNight #TheccaNation," he wrote (aw).

OK, but how serious is it? It could be proposal level, folks. There are actually engagement rumors swirling around these two. Bachelorette Windmill has an Instagram Story from Thomas that shows him talking about weird consignment finds while wearing a gold band on *that* finger. “Engagement ring?” the fan account wrote over top.

Plus, a matchmaking expert says "they make a lot of sense."

It's no surprise to Amber Kelleher-Andrews, co-founder and CEO of Kelleher International, that Thomas and Becca connected in Paradise.

For starters, their physical appearance is a match. Yes, she's talking about Thomas' height. "When I look at the stature of Thomas, his build, and then you look at all the women—you're like, 'Okay, it's going to have to be Becca,'" she tells WomensHealthMag.com. "She's tall, she's statuesque, she's The Bachelorette. So it makes sense." But, Kelleher-Andrews says, Becca “can do so much better.”

That's not all. "If they get married, I'll still say it's not a match until they break up and she goes, 'He cheated on me and he's a jerk.' And I'd be like, 'There it is!'" Kelleher-Andrews says.
