Pro Rides The Steepest Bike Trail In The World

British Columbia is a province that is bigger than France and Germany combined. In the beautiful expanse, there is a whole lot of amazing riding.

One of the coolest places to ride is Mount 7 In Golden, BC. Mount 7 is a 4000 vertical foot mountain with some of the steepest trails in the world.

Watch Rémy Métailler sample this insanely steep riding below.

In this video, Rémy goes out with his French friend Alexandre Chapellier to take on Mt. 7.

As usual, the Gopro does not do the pitch of the hill justice. Dead Dog, the first trail they sample is nearly vertical and loose at that. Watch Evan Wall air into the drop-in here.

Mt. 7 is the site of a classic downhill race called Psychosis, in which World Cup racers would come out to race down the full 4000 feet. Though the event was discontinued over a decade ago, the organizers brought it back for two years during COVID. Watch the highlights below.

Golden should be on people’s bucket list. Who would not want to descend 4000 dreamy feet?
