Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner Have Spoken: Blazers Are It for Fall 2019

The emergence of the J Sisters as fashion icons is one of my favorite things about 2019. Of course, Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner already wielded great sartorial influence, but the combination of their powers is next level.

Last night the sisters-in-law made a definitive statement about a major fall fashion trend: the oversized blazer. Chopra and Turner were photographed out in New York City last night—first at a Jonas Brothers concert, then at a party celebrating Nick Jonas's new tequila brand, Villa One Tequila—wearing two interpretations on the trend.

Chopra wore a white blazer dress from Reformation with a deep V-neck and wide lapels.

The exact style is called the Maxwell, and it comes in two colors. If you want Chopra's exact look, you can get it for $248. If you opt for the navy blue version, though, it's half off, thanks to Reformation's epic summer sale.

Chopra paired her blazer with Giuseppe Zanotti Metallic Ada PVC Mules ($650), an Elleme Baguette Bag in beige ($458), Vitafede sunglasses ($295), and Sara Weinstock earrings ($4,555).

Turner too went with a polished blazer look for the evening—except she styled hers over a casual T-shirt and denim shorts. But given the oversized fit of the jacket, it looks much more like a dress (and a full-on twinning moment from the J Sisters).

We'd like to think that the sisters-in-law coordinated their looks for their outing last night. Or that they drew inspiration from Chopra's friend Meghan Markle, who often wears blazers, both as jackets and as dresses.

Not every celebrity style moment is easily translatable to real life for us regular folks, but the oversized blazer absolutely is. You can style it like the J Sisters' look for a party or throw it on with a pair of great pants or over a dress for work.

Here are some shoppable versions that should be in your closet immediately.
