Priyanka Chopra Opens Up About Her Trip to India With Nick Jonas

Over the past few months, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have hardly opened up about their supposed budding relationship — until now, that is.

According to People, Priyanka got real about their rumored romance while attending the Vogue x Saks Hamptons Dinner at Wolffer Estate Vineyard this past Thursday.

The actress zeroed in on her recent trip to India with Nick. “We’re getting to know each other and I think it was a great experience for him,” she told People. “That’s what he said. I think he really enjoyed it.”

During their weeklong excursion, Priyanka reportedly introduced Nick to her mother and brought him as her date to a friend’s wedding. The vacay follows reports that she was Nick's date to his cousin’s wedding earlier this summer, along with speculation that the pair has been sporting matching rings.

But Priyanka wants to make one thing clear: She doesn’t consider traveling to be a huge step in a relationship. For her, it’s simply a part of everyday life.

“To me, my whole life is about traveling,” she said. “I travel every two weeks on a different plane. My family flies over, my friends fly with me. It’s not a big deal in my world. It’s my normal.”

Priyanka also opened up about her ideal date night, noting that she finds it crucial to be in an environment where she can really get to know the other person.

“I wouldn’t want a date night in an activity. That’s not a date,” she explained. “That’s a thing you do together, but date night is important to have two people be themselves and be able to spend time together and still love each other. Date night for me would be someone being thoughtful about the person they care about and being with them.”
