Priyanka Chopra’s Engagement Ring From Nick Jonas Is at Least 5 Carats
Nick Jonas reportedly closed down an undisclosed Tiffany & Co. store to find the perfect engagement ring for his then-girlfriend, Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra, who finally debuted the bauble to fans this week.
The Quantico actress flashed her sparkling new ring this week while taking a selfie with another fellow Bollywood actress. An expert at Brilliant Earth tells The Knot that the center stone itself appears to be at least five carats.
The ring includes a cushion-cut diamond featuring delicate side accents that look to be tapered baguette diamonds. The stones are in a classic white gold or platinum setting. According to Brilliant Earth, the cost for a piece like this would typically be valued between $110,000 to $150,000.

Of course the value of Chopra’s ring is well above the national average, at least according to The Knot 2017 Jewelry & Engagement Study. The average spend is now $6,351 with the average carat size for a center stone rounding out at about 1.2 carats.
Chopra’s ring, however, fits in with the most popular setting, which is overwhelmingly white gold by 61 percent of those surveyed.
